2. Dante, a Spanish writer, wrote Don Quiotle and Divine Comedy.
3. Geoffrey Chaucer, a English author of the The Tales of Canterbury.
4. Christin de Pizan, a French female author and wrote The Book of the City of Ladies.
5. Masaccio, father of Renaissance Art (1400-1490), made the feasco (master piece) of Saint Peter.
6. Donatello, a painter, and master sculptor, who made David, Gattemelato, and Saint George.
7. Leonardo da Vinci, a architect, engineer, sculptor, and painter, made things like the flying machine, Mona Lisa,
Self Portrait.
8. Raphael, painter, in High Renaissance, painted things like his Madonnas Sistina, and School of Athens.
9. Michelangelo, worked on things like the Sistine Chapel, Sculptor, architect, made things also such as David, and
Pieta. (I would like to say that it is the some of the most beautiful things that I have seen in all my life.)
10. Jan van Eyck, a Belgium (Flemish) painter who was the first to use oil paints, created things like The Virgin of
the Chancellor Robin.
11. Albrecht Dürer, a painter from near the area of Nuremberg , in Baden-Nuremberg
(Bavaria) Germany made many painters several of them where his self portrait.
His works of art are currently hanging on the walls of the Art Museum of Münich.
12. Filippo Bruneuelleschi, a sculptor, master architect, designed the dome of Brunelleschi, in Florence. (It its one
of the greatest domed buildings that I have seen in all my travels.)
